Pest inspection should be done once a week.

Once you identify a pest and decide to spray it, you should spray it again (with a different pesticide),
every 3 to 4 days, until you see the pest is no longer spreading to near plants, or to other places in your field.

The proper walking pace, when spraying is medium.
Don’t walk very slowly, otherwise you will run out of water for the rest of the field.

On the other hand, don’t walk very fast because it’s hard to properly cover the plants with mist this way.
Around 3 km per hour or 2 miles per hour is the normal pace.
You can only stop for a few seconds in order to fully cover plants that host an unusually big colony.

In order to know the volume of water that is needed to cover your crop,
You should experiment first with water only.

Around 30 to 60 gallons, per acre, is a suitable amount of water for big areas.
It is about 500 to 1000 liter per hectare, or 5 liters per 1 square meter.
For big plants, bigger quantities of water are needed, than small plants.
The amount of pesticide needed, is always written on the label, but sometimes, you can put up to 50% more of the pesticide,
if you see that the pesticide was not lethal enough.

Pesticides are very concentrated, so usually the quantity is small,
between 100 to 200 milliliters per acre, that’s for fully grown field.

If you have no more than a small garden, no more than a few drops are needed.
